1) no problem filling – tanks sitting with his head resting on the edge of the sink – I do not keep them as filler.

I love this air filter is much longer than I thought! And 'silent and can be mitigated slightly to 1,400 square condo. I fill it once or twice a day and use of protective cartridge, as instructed. This is certainly a cost effective solution with minimal maintenance in the use of protective filters and cartridges.

R2000 live in a "house – a house with a high efficiency heat exchanger air / air exchanges at home permanently with the outside (low relative humidity) air.
When I bought this unit, the relative humidity in my house-2000 square feet approximately 30%. Within hours of moisture gave a reading a bit 'more than 40%. For several days, I filled both tanks twice a day to around. 45% -50%, depending on where in the house, I put the moisture. ButThen, I have two tanks once a day, and run the fan unit above 45% speed during the day and low speed, if I "turn", until I met the morning.
So far, I have no problems running form, I can not find the filling of the tanks to be difficult. While not tighten the lids are off quite easily. All components easily at the bottom.
I noticed a big difference in the comfort of home, the hunter of "wet" on my wingdoes not work so hard, and I lowered the thermostat for my gas forced air heating by a degree or two, because the house feels warmer.
